History
Shockflash Networks was founded in February 2003 as the brainchild of Binmaker (formerly timsoulm) and Hembergler. Both of these talented young savants set out with a goal in mind: to create and spread fun. Energized at this lofty but achievable proposition, Binmaker set out creating fun in the form of musical mastery, while Hembergler began formulating a website to convey this fun to a widespread audience. Soon the songs piled up and animations and festive games were added into the deluge of web accessible entertainment. Soon Shockflash Networks became a haven for the lonely soul in search for fun.
While we have had our share of difficulties managing such a website that allows such fun-enlightenment to all of those in need, here we are again. We can guarantee you, soon you’ll just be bellowing at the top of your lungs, “It’s So Much Fun!” And you know what? That’s what we’re here for.
The Creators
Binmaker: An involved pioneer in the fields of electronic music, fine art, and more. He is the mastermind behind the music production of Shockflash Networks, his artistic and programming talents are clearly visible in the epics Hop the Cat and Golden Triangles, and his comic genius is viewable in his endless wit on the [former] forums and posts. Hembergler: A techie with a love of fixing things that aren’t broken, he has interests spanning from music, to programming and web design, to pens, to soldering and on to croquet. He is the main web junkie behind Shockflash, and he enjoys not being heavily noticed.

Mckickflip: A lover of esoteric music taste, Mckickflip will be able to write those reviews of bands that no one has ever heard of and quite possibly don’t exist at all.
MasterNate: Having grown up on the mean streets of the North Shore, MasterNate is firmly grounded in the ways of punk, emo, alt. rock and everything inbetween. The resident screamo expert, he’ll be able to guide you on who can scream the loudest, longest, and bestest. We thank you MasterNate.

Keep in mind that Shockflash Networks is kept running by the money out of Binmaker and Hembergler’s pockets. If you enjoy the site, or are feeling generous around the holiday times, don’t hesitate to make a donation! [Hah. As if you would give anything to us.] If donations aren’t your thing but feel you could contribute content to the website, please do!
